Jemery Faux Pas joins as head of security
We a delighted to announce that Jemery Faux Pas has
joined The Dock as head of security. Ted Says "We are over the moon to attract someone like Jeremy and we have been so lucky that a man of his calibre is available to join us at such short notice." |

Flash found dead!
Flash was found dead this morning just as the members of The Dock were getting ready to fly off to Paris for the Arc. Conrad said "We were all devastated to find Flash like this and I suppose we will now miss the big race on Sunday. I am not too worried because I think Eldin von Hatten could clone him and his next race is not until the King George on Boxing day. I just feel disappointed that I will not be training him until next year now. |

Mark to leave Edgcote to train Flash full time
|
|
We are pleased to announce that Mark Wilkinson has given up his yard at Edgcote to concentrate on training Flash full time. Mark said, " I just did not have the time last year and I am personally training Flash for the new National Hunt season. I know I am letting all my other owners down but they understand that a horse like Flash only comes around ones in a life time. We are not telling any one where we are training due to the security breaches of last year" |

Eldin Von Hatten is innocent
|
|
The Dock would like to apologise to Eldin Von Hatten if we intimated that he had mistakenly given ACP to Flash. Eldin pointed out that we are not allowed to give any type of improvement drugs to Flash and he was away last weekend looking after his grandson. The Jokey Club have contacted us and we have convinced them that it was an error in our current new section on the 26th July. Flash is doing well although at the moment one leg is slightly bigger that the other three. The professor is working on it! |

Flash to take on Shakee
|
|
Flash is on course to take on Shakee in the King George at Ascot. Conrad said, "We could not be more pleased with him and he will be spot on for the big race. We had all the owners of the Dock down to see him work and a number of them rode him around the paddock." Paul Keyon (Our newest owner) was especially excited because this is the first horse that he owns. The last one was owned by the BBC and you just can't get into it unless you do it yourself he said. |

Damming new evidence is about to be released
|
|
Members of the Dock Racing Club are bracing themselves for a damming BBC documentary about Flash. Mark said, "This is all I need, some guy called Keyon wanted to buy Flash and all I did was to show him Flash one day before a race and the next thing I know the Jokey Club is onto me." |
| The programme has been following the
fortunes of Flash over the last year and Keyon believes that the betting
public have been mislead. Ted has been interviewed by the Jokey Club along
with members of the Dock Racing Club as far as they are concerned this
has all been blown out of proportion. Ted is offering Keyon an honouree membership of the Dock Racing Club and has pointed out that there is a warning on the site not to back Flash. When Keyon read this he said that we might be OK but other key trainers are being investigated! |

No News is Good News!
|
|
Flash has been working well and Conrad has decided to go for just two races, The King George and the Arc. Conrad said, "I think Flash was aimed at too many races over the jumps and I would rather go for quality not quantity. Flash is such an easy horse to get ready that I am just keeping him ticking over and he will be sport on for the King George at Ascot." |
| We are pleased to report that Mark has made a full recovery and is looking forward to Flash coming back in September. Mark said, "I am much stronger and mentally fit for the challenges of training Flash. I think when I went to Cheltenham is a gorilla suite I should have seen the warning signals and took some time off. We will be going for the Hennessy and then see what happens" |

First Gallop was Awesome
|
|
Flash's first days training was nothing short of awesome. Conrad said, "I have never see anything like thing before. I have ridden many good horses but the more work you throw at Flash the better he is. I am going to have to buy a lead horse for Flash and I will be talking to Sir Alex Ferguson to see if Rock of Gibraltar is for sale. |

Flash arrives at Conrad's yard
|
|
Flash has arrived at Conrad Allen stables and has spent a quite night in his new box. Conrad said, "I did not expect to get Flash so early but I have sympathy with Mark. Training Flash is like being the England Football manager, the pressure is enormous! |
| Eldin von Hatten said, " Mark is doing OK and he has had a good weeks rest. He does wake up at night cheering Flash home and thinking he has won the national but we think he is on the mend" |
21st April
Mark has a break down
|
|
I am sad to report that Mark
has been taken away to recover for a few months. The Dock has just
discovered that Flash actually did not run in the National and the
photograph of him winning was a forgery. Many members of the Dock Racing Club have commented on the fact that they did not see Flash in the parade ring, in fact no sighting of Flash was made at all on the day. |
| Sadly we have leant that the pressure got
to Mark and he was so worried that Flash has not had a run since he has been
in training with him, that he tried to pull off this scam.
We have asked C Mann to investigate for us and Eldin von Hatten will be in charge until further notice. |

Flash Wins but Unseats David 50yds from the Finish
|
|
Flash wins the National but David is unshipped 50yds from the line. Mark said, "I am too gutted to talk about it at the moment, Flash gave David a perfect ride and something mysterious happed 100 yards from the winning post. I feel desperately sorry for all the members of the Dock Racing Club and we will post more information on this site when we have further news as to what happened" |

Flash is Running!
|
|
Flash is lining up for the 2002 Grand National! Mark said, " I can't tell you how relieved I am that he is running. We have had such bad luck over the last 12 months. All the members of the Dock Racing Club will be there and we are going to have a hell of a day out! |

| Bookies Slash Flash to 2/1 Fav |
|
|
After a racecourse gallop over the Grand National fences, Flash has been slashed to 2/1 Fav for the big race a week on Saturday. This picture was taken with Flash upsides Earth Summit and somehow it has been leaked to the Press. Mark said " I am surprised that this picture has been put into the public domain. |
| I feel sorrow for all the members of the Dock but most of them got on at 10/1 3 months ago" |

Mark plays it low key at Cheltenham
|
|
An update from Mark:
Had a great Cheltenham, but unfortunately I
was unable to enjoy the social side as much as usual. I had to go incognito
and none of my fellow trainers recognized me. All the EPO hype has really got to me and I am now becoming a bit of a recluse. |
| Flash and I have been
given special dispensation to train from a secret destination in the build up for the National. The Jokey Club have been very helpful and as long as I follow their guidelines I shall be able to train him without the Press hassling me. Will keep you posted and all future correspondence will be in code from now on. Mark |

Shock Horror, Flash has a blood infection!
Following the Jokey Clubs dawn raid, Flash has picked
up a blood disorder. Mark said, "I don't want to say
that Flash has picked this up due to the tests, or that anything underhand
has happened here, but it looks mighty suspicious to me." Mark and
Eldin von Hatten did not wish to comment further due to potential legal
issues with the Jokey Club but a spokesman for the club, Mr C Mann said,
"Lets not Fart About, its obvious, the whole operation
on EPO was to get at Flash. They have stopped him from running and its a
conspiracy between The Bookmakers, The Jokey Club, The Government and The
FBI. I am writing to Tony Blair to demand a full enquiry" |

Eldin von Hatten exposes cloning scam.
Eldin von Hatten has discovered the real reason for all these blood tests that have been carried out by the Jokey Club. "Cloning" Whilst under arrest, Eldin von Hatten found out that Jeremy Phipps is working for Sheikh Mat Too Com Doo Foo Too Flu Too and is trying to clone Flash! Taking samples from all the other horses was just a smoke screen.
We have had a number of enquiries to buy
Flash and The Professor believes that once the Sheikh realised that Flash
was not for sale he recruited Phipps to carry out his cloning scam. |

Eldin von Hatten Released
|
|
We are pleased to announce that Eldin von Hatten has been released from the custody of the Jokey Club with no charge. A spokesman for the Jokey Club, Mr Maximun said, " Eldin's horse shoes have no connection with the EPO blood performance substance that we have been looking for. We have kept hold of one or two for further investigation but in our opinion anyone using them needs their head examined" |

Dawn Raid
|
|
The Jokey Club raided Mark's
stable today looking for EPO. Flash was the main target. We can't believe
how insensitive they have been, especially with the big day in less than 3
weeks time. All they found was a bar of Galaxy and a few polo mints. They did arrest Eldin von Hatten though and took away his EPO horse shoes.

Flash to go Hunting
|
|
Mark has decided to take Flash Hunting. Mark said, "Flash was getting a bit stale and he needed something to rekindle his interest. We are still on course for the Gold Cup, National double and AP will be riding Flash out in the near future to get a feel ready for his record breaking feat in March" |
16th February
AP in the Gold Cup
|
|
AP McCoy is to ride Flash in the Gold Cup. Both Carl and Mark are delighted that AP could break the 270 winners on Flash. Mark said, "This is going to be a little bit of Cheltenham history, what better way for Tony to break the record." AP said, "I am delighted that Mark and Carl have given me the ride. I recon I can get to 269 a few days before the Gold Cup and then I will not ride again until the race." Carl said, "He’s the best and he deserves it and I will probably get a big drink sometime!" |

Its Willie!
|
|
The votes have been cast and I am pleased to say that Willie will be riding Flash this summer. Willie won by a few votes over Jordie. Willie said, " I have had many offers to get me out of retirement but I could not turn down the opportunity of riding Flash in this years Derby. I feel really sorry for Jordie missing out on the ride but he can have my lucky doll, Humphrey, which might make up for his disappointment |

Flash to go straight for the Gold Cup
|
|
Mark has decided to miss the Tote Gold Trophy this month and go straight for the Gold Cup. Mark said, "What's the point, Flash will win so easily. Martin Pipe rung me up and said that he wants to beat his own record as to the number of winners trained in a season, so I have told him that Flash will stay at home" |

Sports Day to pay £1m to sponsor Flash
|
|
Ted is pleased to announced that Sports Day have agreed a 5 year sponsor deal worth over £1m. Ted said, "We signed up Conrad to be our next trainer for Flash and he introduced us to Sports Day. They came to meet me with a briefcase full of cash and I agreed the deal there and then." |

The hunt is on to find a rider for Flash
![]() |
We found the trainer but who should ride Flash on the flat? Have your say and vote for our stable Jokey. Willie Carson and Lester Piggott have both approached Conrad to see if they can make a winning come back. Flash is so easy to ride that Conrad thinks his new up and coming Jokey, Jordie (2st 9lbs) could hold the key. Vote Here |

Conrad wins convincingly to become Flash's trainer for the new flat season.
|
|
After a recount of one vote from Alison Mitchell we are delighted to announce that Conrad is to be Flash's new trainer. Conrad thinks that Flash could win a race every day at Royal Ascot this year as well as winning all the classics. |
| Conrad said " Thank you for giving me the opportunity to train Flash next season. I am sure that Mark is as disappointed to be losing him as I am exited to be getting him. I am glad you made the decision early as I will need to go to Tattersalls next week to buy a lead horse for him as I don't think that I will have anything good enough here at home after seeing his gallops. I am looking forward to working with Eldin von Hatten as I have read a lot about his theories. I don't speak very much German but I have been there. I have found that after drinking a lot in bars around the world that I am fluid in most languages." |

Flash to go to top Flat Trainer this summer
|
|
Flash is moving to one of these top
trainers this summer. Mark said, " I owe it to Flash
and the members of The Dock, to let Flash go to a specialist Flat trainer
this year. I am geared up for National Hunt and although I can train on the
flat I have nothing in my yard for Flash to race with" Please vote Here for who you would like to see train Flash. |

Flash is back in training
|
|
Flash is back from Mark's
secret summer location and has had a canter with Desie. Mark said,
" Flash has come back better than ever and we will go
for the Tote Gold Hurdle at Newbury on 9th of February. This will be a great
prep race before the Gold Cup" Eldin von Hatten has been experimenting with horse communication and believes that Desie could help Flash in his build up to the Gold Cup. |

Eldin von Hatten Invents a new whip!

There has been a lot of talk about the whip and many a Jokey has been banned for over use. Flash and Mark to take a break
|
|
Mark has decided
to take Flash away for a break. Mark said,
"Flash and me have been on the go from
October and we deserve a rest. I will find a race for him early Feb then its
the Gold Cup and the National. Eldin von Hatten is working on a revolutionary new whip that we will shortly be announcing. |

First picture of Flash's accident
|
|
We are pleased to announce
that Flash is OK after his accident. We did not want to release this picture
until we were sure that Flash was well. Unfortunately he will not run on Boxing day. Mark said, " If it was any other horse this accident would have been fatal. Carl managed to stay on due to Eldin's new invention but we just can't get Flash fit in time for Boxing day." |
| We will be reviewing our options. Flash is still on course for his main target, the Grand National but Mark wants to see how he is in a weeks time. Eldin von Hatten is diluting the EPO horseshoes so that Flash does not jump so high! |
1st December 2001
Flash is injured
|
|
Flash has an injury following
an accident using EPO horseshoes. (see video below) Mark said, " I can't believe it. The professor told me that these horseshoes were good but we never envisaged this, Flash missed all the straw bails that we had put around the Kempton fences and landed in my green house. Carl is a bit cut but Flash must be doubtful for the King George on Boxing day." |
| We are doing everything possible to get Flash to Kempton but we must warn you that its only 50:50 that he runs. Eldin von Hatten is working day and night, if anyone can work miracles its him! |

Count Down to the King George
New Elastic Prolonging Orbital horseshoe
|
|
Eldin von Hatten has just
invented a new horseshoe call EPO (Elastic Prolonging Orbit). A layer
of elastic substance is coated onto the horseshoe which imparts an upwards
force when Flash jumps.
With this new shoe Flash can clear Kempton style fences by 15 feet and also allows Flash to stand off his fences by a good 100 feet. Mark will be trying out these new shoes later this week and we will have a schooling video soon. Blue Square have slashed Flash's odds for the King George to 1/3 |
| We are delighted to have invented this new substance but we do expect a few Charlie's to object to this new horseshoe and we are hoping that it won't be band by the Jokey Club. |

Henderson has Kempton style fences, Confirmed!
|
|
We sent our spy to pose as a prospective owner to Nicky's yard and to our dismay we found that he has invested heavily in Kempton style fences and grass. We are advising all members of The Dock to have a covering bet on BACCHANAL. Mark and The Professor are working around the clock to come up with something new to get the edge on Bacchanal in the King George. |
13th December 2001
Flash is not on EPO
|
|
A number of trainers have
been accusing us of using EPO on Flash and we would like to go on record
that this whole thing has been over hyped. Those
who claimed such substance were in use are suffering from "paranoia" Eldin von Hatten said (Translated into English) "Why would we want to use EPO when you can use good old fashioned steroids. The problem with EPO is nobody knows anything about it and its a devil of a job to get hold of!" |
| Mark said "Most trainers are so jealous of our success that's it's just sour grapes. Perhaps someone is suffering from paranoia when their horses get beaten." |
10th December 2001
Henderson could have Kempton
Fences and Grass!
|
|
We are very concerned that Nicky Henderson might have obtained Kempton style fences and grass. This would mean that BACCHANAL could pose a real threat to Flash in this months King George. Mark said, “I suppose it was only a matter of time before other trainers started to copy my methods and if this is true, Flash will have stiff opposition in Bacchanal on Boxing Day. Nicky has a great record at Kempton and I have had my suspicions about this for sometime and this would explain why he does so well at this course.” |
5th December 2001
Flash is clear of Newbury turf
|
|
We are pleased to inform you
that Flash is now totally clear of Newbury turf. Eldin von Hatten has been
examining Flash's droppings in his top secret laboratory in the Chiltern
Hills. The professor has informed Mark that Flash should be fully
acclimatised to Kempton style grass in the next few weeks. Mark said,
"I will be schooling Flash over Kempton style fences next week and expect
him to be on top form again by Boxing day".
|

Flash goes into the Kempton Field
|
|
Flash is recovering well from his Opp and Mark has moved him straight into the Kempton field. Mark said, "It normally takes about three to four days for the Newbury type Grass to pass through and another week to acclimatise. He has been geared up to running at Newbury and now Flash needs to prepare for Kempton." |

Disaster
Flash has Oppititopi
|
|
Flash has Oppitiopi, a very rare throat complaint. Mark said, "He was OK on Thursday and today he has had an opp. This is a very rare disease and effects 1 in every 1,000,000 horses, what can I say, just when you are on top something like this happens. That's racing for you. I do think he will make a full recovery in time for the King George and that's about the only good news." |
| This just leaves stable mate Take A Turn to bring back the spoils from Newbury, providing it's not too soft. |

| Mark has entered Take A Turn
in the long distance hurdle to complete a winning double with Flash on

| Mark said, "I want

comments Take A Turn will be 100/1. I expect him to win by two lengths from
Deano's Beano with First Gold third" Merry Christmas |

Flash is OK
|
|
We have just contacted Mark and he is furious. Mark has confirmed that Flash is flying and there is no problem. |
| Mark added " This
is a common thing when you train the big race favourite. The Bookies are now
pushing Flash out in the betting to drum up business in the other horses. I
am furious with this rumour and I just hope its no one from my yard. We are
installing more security cameras and the place is starting to look more like
Fort Knox that a training centre. I suppose that I should not complain, horses like Flash only happen once in a lifetime." Thanks Mark! |

Flash has thrown a splint
|
|
We have just
received a Fax from Mark to say that Flash has thrown a splint while
running in a greyhound race. We don't know what this means but a guy down the pub said, it's the sort of thing you get told a week before a big race when you have organised for all your friends to turn up, spent a fortune on the hospitality box and had £2k on your horse to win anti post and the horse does not run." |
| Obviously this guy does not know what he is talking about and as soon as we track Mark down we will update you with any news. |

|

|
Mark says, "Media hype is hotting up as we approach The Hennessy. Flash remains in good form but I feel it is necessary to keep things as low key as possible so he does not boil over. Foregone Conclusion, Sir Michael presents the trophy
|
|
11 days to go before Flash
wins the Hennessy. The sponsors of the Hennessy have already made
arrangements for the cup to go to Mark this week. Sir Michael Hennessy said "To be honest I don't know why we are running the race, surely all the other trainers know that Flash will win. I suppose that they have a duty to their owners to run their horses but we have already presented the trophy to Mark and the members of the Dock Racing Club" |
| Sir Michael added "I am so impressed with The Dock Racing Club that I have taken out a lifetime membership. All my family are members, Flash is the best race horse I have even seen!" |

Ceanannas Mor wins the Charisma but where is Flash?
That's the question we all want to ask!
|
|
2 members of the Dock Racing Club attended the Charisma Gold Cup yesterday only to find that Flash was nowhere to be seen. |
| Less than 5 miles away from Kempton the
unthinkable happened, Flash's horse box broke down. Normally Mark would
travel with Flash but on this occasion he had made his own way to the
course. Cathy the head girl forgot her mobile and there are a dozen other excuses, but the long and the short of it was, Flash missed the race. Mark and Ted will be discussing future plans and they did think that they might just make the Breeder's cup in time but this has been put on hold. Mark will be updating us later on the details. What can I say. |

Flash is spot on for the Charisma
|
Flash is spot on for today's Charisma Gold Cup and he is the one to beat. As expected Carl has been claimed to ride Hannigan's Lodger but David Howard now comes in for the ride. Carl said " I am gutted that I can't ride Flash but I have a commitment to Nigel and that's the end of the matter" Mark said "Flash will want to make the running to take full advantage of his stamina." |
|
| "Of course I am excited about riding Flash today but I do feel desperately sorry for Carl. I am also very worried about Mr Pipe because he really does think that Sulphur Springs has an outstanding chance if it were not for Flash." David Howard |

or too fast. He is also responding well to treatment and Eldin von Hatten says "Ya, Flash ist vowy vell unt vill vin The Charisma Gold Cup"

New Jokey to join the club.
|

I am pleased to
announce that David Howard is to join our club. David is one of the country's
best claiming Jokeys, he claims anything if you leave it unattended for
more than 5 minutes. Mark believes that Flash will be so high up in the weights that David's 7lb allowance will be invaluable in competitive handicaps. Flash has been allotted 12st 7lbs for the Charisma Gold Cup and we need David to take some weight of Flash. |

"I have broken the news to Carl and understandably he is very upset but we have agreed that Carl will ride Flash in the Grand National. Hopefully David might pick up the spare ride on Beau"
21st October 2001 Disappointment in the Champion Stakes Mark Says "Lester was also shell shocked that he was unable to make a winning comeback at H.Q. Flash has had intensive physio and no expense has been spared. Professor Eldin von Hatten was flown in from U.S.A to supervise treatment and to use his revolutionary methods. He has recommended that Flash spend the weekend in Dubai as the warmer climate should help him. He returns on Tuesday and will be schooled over Kempton style fences with a tilt at the Charisma Gold Cup definitely on the agenda."

"I am sure that I can get Flash right in time for the Charisma Gold Cup" |

Flash to go Chasing. After the disappointment of the last two weeks Mark has decided to take Flash chasing. Mark will pop Flash over a fence tomorrow and if all goes well we will go for the Chrisma Gold Cup.

Flash does not run in the Champion Stakes. We are all gutted and Mark will be updating the web site shortly.

It's in the balance. Flash worked very well with Galileo pulling away in the final furlong* but I have to warn you that he might have pulled a muscle and is now doubtful to run tomorrow. Please be careful with any anti post bets and Mark's comments will be posted shortly! *Flash was in his horse box at the time. Current betting:

Flash is sent over to Ballydoyle to have a Gallop with Galileo to prepare for the Champion Stakes. Mark has nothing in his yard that can give Flash a race, but I think the real reason for Flash going was that Aidan wanted to have a real test before he sent Galileo over for the Breeders Cup. |

Membership We have signed up our first member so hurry before the 999 other shares go! A quote from our new member.
"I really hope I get a chance of a share in Flash, chances like
this only come once in a lifetime and at the price such good value, but I
suppose they will all have gone by now" Harold St Quinton
11th October 2001 Flash goes for the Champion Stakes. Confirmed. Mark has decided to let Flash take his chance in the forthcoming Champion Stakes. A new cunning plan is being devised and your trainers comments will be updated soon! A decision to take on Persian Punch in the Melbourne Cup will be announced very shortly
7th October 2001 Total Disgrace!!!!!! As expected a number of top trainers stopped our horse from taking part in the Arc today. Once they heard of Mark's cunning plan and news from the gallops that Flash was flying, we were prevented from running. Mark said, "Flash was unable to run in The Arc due to passport irregularities, he hasn't got one). However he still remains at the peak of his form, I'm sure he would have run a blinder. The Champion Stakes is an obvious target, but the long term plan will be The Grand National. Obviously the Champion Stakes would be an unusual prep race ,but I feel in Flash that we have a very versatile horse."

Flash is strongly fancied to beat Shakee
|
Flash has been entered for the Arc de Triomphe Mark has entered Flash for this top race this weekend. A number of top trainers are desperately trying to stop Flash running because they know he could win. It would be no surprise to us if the Jokey Club refuses Flash to travel to stop this race being made into a mockery. Mark said
We will keep you updated. latest prices
