Last of 6. Flash could not get into trap No 1. A bet of 1,000.000 to 1 was placed. The trainer stated that he was surprised that Flash did not fit, but said that he left it a bit to chance because he did not have any traps at home to get Flash familiar with them.

PU. Flash got off to a slow start but when he eventually started to walk the race was over. The Trainer stated that the ground was wrong, the trip too far, the pace was too quick, he got boxed in, he wanted a shorter trip and he was genuinely unlucky.

School Sports Day Oxford 2.50

PU. Flash was entered in the 100 yds for 4 year olds. After a promising start he was pulled up because he wanted to eat some grass.

The trainer said. "I only wish I had fed him the night before, If he was not so hungry he would probably have won by 2 lengths"
